OCTOBER 25, 26, 27, 2019
Forty Hours Devotion is a special 40-hour period of continuous prayer made before the Blessed Sacrament in solemn exposition. It is a graced filled time for our parish family every year. It is a time for us to come before the Blessed Sacrament and thank God for his many graces, to make reparation to Him for our past sins, to pray for the sick and to beg God’s blessing and protection of our Church and nation.
“I am the living bread come down from Heaven; whoever eats this bread, will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.” (John 6:51)
“The Eucharist is connected with the Passion… To make sure that we do not forget, Jesus gave us the Eucharist as a memorial of his love… When you look at the Crucifix, you understand how much Jesus loved you then, when you look at the Sacred Host you understand how much Jesus loves you now.” – St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta
“Trust all things to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and to Mary Help of Christians and you will see what miracles are.” – St. John Bosco
Join us in adoration and spend some time with our Eucharistic King in the Blessed Sacrament.
The sign up sheet will be located in the church vestibule on the bulletin board in the next few weeks.
