From Feb. 26 through April 5, you’re invited to peacefully pray outside of the Family Planning Associates Medical Group Women’s Health Clinic, which is an abortion facility at 4341 North Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL 60641.

Honor St. Joseph at 40 Days for Life prayer vigil during Lent.

TIME: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
LOCATION: Family Planning Associates Medical Group Women’s Health Clinic
4341 North Milwaukee Ave.
Chicago, IL 60641

Together with the St. Peter Pro-Life Committee, we will pray the Rosary peacefully outside the abortion facility as we ask for St. Joseph’s intercession in empowering men to save their babies from abortion and protect their families.

If you are not available during that shift on March 21, we hope you will be able to select a time slot on another day during the 40 day campaign. The organizers of this prayer vigil are looking for prayer warriors to pray for 1, 2, 3, or 4 hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the 40 day campaign.

During this upcoming election, please vote for pro-life candidates. The primary in Illinois is on Tuesday, March 17, but you can do early voting from March 2 through March 16.

Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, wrote wisely:

“‘We get the public officials we deserve. Their virtue–or lack thereof–is a judgment not only on them, but on us.’ ~Living the Gospel of Life, 34

Reflection: This powerful statement points to our responsibility to elect pro-life candidates and keep pro-abortion candidates out of office. They cannot get into office, of course, without a sufficient number of people voting for them.

Voters need to ask, ‘If a politician can’t respect the life of a little baby, how is he supposed to respect mine?’

Prayer: Lord, raise up in our nation wise and virtuous voters, that we may have godly leaders.” (Pro-Life Reflections for Every Day)
