Here at St. Peter's, we encourage our parish families to present their newborn infants for the Sacrament of Baptism soon after birth, as this Sacrament is the foundation of the Christian life.

In Baptism, the child, freed from original sin, becomes an heir to the Kingdom of God, receiving the theological virtues of faith, hope, and charity, and the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. Through Baptism, the child now has access to the other sacraments.

Arrangements for Baptism must be made in advance. The first step to begin the process is to fill out the below Baptismal Request form. Once arrangements have begun, please be sure to complete the Godparent Information Form found on the Godparents tab or by clicking HERE.

Baptisms at St. Peter's take place on Saturdays. The recommended stipend for a Baptism is $35.00.

Please note, as Sacraments are meant to be celebrated within the Parish community, Sacraments should take place at the Parish where your family is active, involved, and attending Mass regularly.

Here at St. Peter's, we require all families presenting their child for Baptism to already be registered Parishioners here at St. Peter's, active in our community, and attending Mass here weekly, for at least 6-months.
