Baptism

At St. Peter Catholic Church, we encourage our parish families to present their newborn infants for the Sacrament of Baptism soon after birth, because this sacrament is the foundation of the Christian life. In Baptism, the child, freed from original sin, becomes an heir to the Kingdom of God, receiving the theological virtues of faith, hope, and charity, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Through Baptism, the child now has access to the other sacraments.

Arrangements for Baptism must be made in advance. The first step to begin the process is fill out the below Baptismal Request form (after the baby is born). Once arrangements have begun, please be sure to complete the Godparent Information Form found on the Godparents tab or by clicking HERE.

Because of our very full Sunday schedule, baptisms at St. Peter's take place on Saturdays.
